Getting the Most from your Beach Experience!

We are glad you chose Seacrest Beach for your beach destination this week. We hope you enjoy your time in our slice of paradise. In order to help you have the most enjoyment with your beach time, we would like to let you know some details of our beach.

Our beach consists of 240 linear feet of sand. La Dolce Vita, our beach service vendor, offers beach chair and umbrella rentals on the eastern 120 feet of our beach, as well as on our eastern neighbor’s beach at Elysee Beach.

You may go to www.ldvbeach.com to reserve your beach set up or explore all of the services our beach ambassador provides.

The western 120 feet of beach is set aside for guests to bring their own chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately, because of our large crowds, tents and other canopies are not allowed on our beach.

Although we love our beach, we understand that in busy Spring and Summer weeks, it can be extremely crowded.

As an alternative, you may want to consider one of our nearby public beaches. Inlet Beach is our nearest public beach and is a little more than a mile from Seacrest Beach. Other public beach access options are on the back of this page. These beaches offer parking, restrooms, wheelchair ramps, and lifeguards.

Local Public Beaches

Inlet Beach Regional Access (1.2 miles from Seacrest)

The Inlet Beach Regional Beach Access has parking, restrooms, and lifeguards during peak season. Located at the end of South Orange Street about 200 yards south of US Hwy 98. Inlet Beach Regional is the largest county access and features three dune walkovers and 117 parking spaces. A half-mile walk to the east is Camp Helen State Park and Lake Powell.

For more information about the Inlet Beach Regional Access, please visit the web site at sowal.com/place/inlet-beach-regional-access.

The address of the Inlet Beach Regional access is: 438 South Orange Street, Inlet Beach, FL 32461.

Camp Helen State Park (1.9 miles from Seacrest)

Camp Helen is a place where visitors can explore an environment rich in natural and cultural resources. The park is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and by Lake Powell the largest coastal dune lake in Florida. This 180-acre park is for day use only. Activities include swimming, beachcombing, nature study, hiking and both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Prehistoric middens and mounds indicate that humans inhabited the area more than 4,000 years ago. From 1945 until 1987 Camp Helen was a company resort for the employees of an Alabama textile mill, known as Avondale Mills. Some of those buildings have now been restored.

The street address of the entrance for Camp Helen State Park is 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach, FL 32413.

Deer Lake State Park (4.4 miles from Seacrest)

This park shares its name with the coastal dune lake within its boundaries. Coastal dune lakes are extremely rare worldwide and in the United States they occur only along the Gulf Coast. Southern magnolias, golden asters, woody goldenrod and scrub oaks can be seen in this coastal dune habitat. Rare plants such as Gulf coast lupine, spoonflower, pitcher plants and Curtiss’ sand grass-one of the largest populations found in Florida, are found in the park. Visitors may see splashes of color from summer wildflowers or some of the many species of resident or migratory birds and butterflies. A boardwalk across the dunes offers easy access to the beach where visitors can picnic, swim and fish. It also offers a spectacular view of the dune ecosystem, one of 11 natural communities found in the park.

For more information about the Deer Lake State park, please visit the web site at www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/deer-lake-state-park.

The street address of the entrance for Deer Lake State Park is 6350 East County Highway 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.

Grayton Beach State Park (9.5 miles from Seacrest)

Grayton Beach consistently ranks among the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the United States. Western Lake offers fishing and paddling, and those who want to explore on foot have 4 miles of trails to traverse through a coastal forest where scrub oaks and magnolias are bent and twisted by salt winds.

An overnight excursion yields its own unique experience with a stay in one of the well outfitted cabins or a more rustic accommodation at one of Grayton’s cozy campgrounds.

At nearly 2,000 acres, Grayton Beach State Park is more than a backdrop for golden sunrises and silver moonlit evenings.

For more information about the Grayton Beach State park, please visit the web site at www.floridastateparks.org/graytonbeach.

The street address of the entrance for Grayton Beach State Park is 357 Main Park Road, Santa Rosa Beach FL 32459.
